We are excited to offer the opportunity for anyone to have a direct impact on re-introducing forests into Colorado wildfire burn scars. With every purchase, a native evergreen seedling will be planted in an approved Colorado burn scar.

These wildfire burn scars are sadly becoming more and more prominant all over the state. Previous CU Boulder studies have looked at individual fire sites, including the site of the 2000 Walker Ranch fire in Boulder County, and found that forests recovered slowly or not at all. Even 15 years post-fire, as many as 80% of the plots the researchers surveyed still contained no new trees.
