Log Harvesting - Boulder

Service Description
Join us for a day of harvesting dry logs from the county mitigation lot in Boulder, CO. When you have 2 or more people interested, we are organize a date and time that works! Typically, this opportunity can take anywhere from 1-2 hours depending on the amount of individuals helping! We are seeking volunteers who want to spend some time outside in a beautiful centrally-located open space. We will be loading trees cut into 12-14" segments into a trailer to be hauled back into our lot for processing at a later date. We welcome all skill levels for this project, whether you'd just like to learn more, or offer your experience as a sawyer or forestry professional. We are also looking for those with experience with a chainsaw to assist buck up the logs for transport! Safety equipment required! Please let us know (in registration notes) if you need any of this provided. Safety goggles Work gloves Ear protection (muffs or plugs) Boots Chaps (only if utilizing a chainsaw)
